At Chitsie LLC (“Chitsie LLC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), we respect your (“User”, “Users”, “your”) privacy, and are committed to the responsible use of our User’s personal information and the protection of their privacy. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Privacy Statement”) applies to the website located at: www.chitsie.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Statement is intended to explain the conditions under which the Site collects, uses and discloses User information. By visiting our Site and/or using the products and services made available to you on the Site, User agrees to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

GATHERING, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Personally-Identifying Information is defined as the information that can be directly associated with a specific person. The Site collects a range of Personally-Identifying Information including, but not limited to, name, mailing address, phone number, and email address, from and about Site Users. Much of this information is provided by Users themselves at the time of registration in order to participate in brand promotions, online contests, business games, surveys, opinion polls, sweepstakes (“Brand Promotions”), Chitsie LLC’s incentive based stars program (“Stars Program”), and/or use other features of the Site. The Site Users are under no obligation to provide us with Personally–Identifying Information of any kind, with the caveat that a User’s refusal to do so may prevent the User from using certain features of the Site or accessing the Site altogether.

BY REGISTERING WITH THE SITE, YOU CONSENT TO THE USE AND DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONALLY–IDENTIFYING INFORMATION AS DESCRIBED IN THIS “GATHERING, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONALLY–IDENTIFYING INFORMATION” SECTION.

User agrees that: (a) Chitsie LLC may use User Personally-Identifying Information for purposes related to Chitsie LLC’s business, including, but not limited to providing you with Site features and personalizing them for you;

User agrees that Chitsie LLC may disclose part or whole of your Personally–Identifying Information to: (a) Third party service providers, employees, contractors, affiliates, vendors, and suppliers who: (i) process Personally–Identifying Information on our behalf; (ii) assist in the provision or operation of the Site; and (b) Companies, organizations or individuals (or “Brand Sponsor(s)”) running Brand Promotions on Chitsie LLC for purposes of: (i) conducting and/or administering the Brand Promotions; (ii) selection of winner; (iii) to verify a User’s identity, postal address and telephone number in the event a User qualifies for any applicable prize as well as to deliver the applicable prize(s); (iv) contacting a potential winner; (v) if a user agrees to receive updates from them.

Chitsie LLC offers Site users the opportunity to participate in Brand Promotion(s) and Stars Program. Registration to the Site and Participation in a Brand Promotion is optional. Any entries and information, including Personally-Identifying Information, submitted in connection with Brand Promotions may be publicly disclosed. Users who win a prize (“Winners”) agree to, and grant permission to Chitsie LLC and its Brand Sponsors to have their name, picture, winning entry, occupation and/or country displayed or published on the Site, Brand Sponsor(s) website, collaterals, media, and any other marketing material.

When a User refers friends to the Site using the Stars Program, Chitsie LLC will only use your name, email address and your friends’ email addresses to send the requested emails to your friends.

If you opt to receive Chit-Talk, e-mailer from Chitsie LLC, we will email it to you on a regular basis. If you opt in to receive marketing emails from third parties, Chitsie LLC will provide your Personally-Identifying Information to third parties so that they may contact you directly. You may unsubscribe at any time. Even if you have not opted to receive specific communications, we may send you important updates or messages from the management team. You may unregister to stop receiving all communications from Chitsie LLC, at any time.

In case of a business transfer or bankruptcy, Chitsie LLC reserves the right to transfer all Personally-Identifying Information in its possession to a successor organization or acquirer in the event of a merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy or other sale of all or a portion of Chitsie LLC’s assets. Other than to the extent ordered by a bankruptcy or other court, the use and disclosure of all transferred Personally–Identifying Information will be subject to this Privacy Policy, or to a new privacy policy if you are given notice of that new privacy policy and affirmatively opt-in to accept it. Personally-Identifying Information submitted or collected after a transfer, however, will be subject to any new privacy policy adopted by the successor organization.

Chitsie LLC will disclose ALL of your Personally–Identifying Information, without notice to you: (a) In case of Infringement Notifications, Notices of Violations of Site’s Terms of Use and/ or Privacy Policy (b) In response to a subpoena or court order or when required by law; (c) To protect rights i.e. when Chitsie LLC in its sole discretion believes that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Chitsie LLC, other users, third parties or the public at large.

Chitsie LLC takes reasonable precautions to protect the security of Users’ information. However, neither people nor security systems are foolproof. Therefore, while we use reasonable efforts to protect your Personally-Identifying Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

GATHERING, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF NON-PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

Non–Personally–Identifying Information is defined as the information that, without the aid of additional information, cannot be directly associated with a specific person or entity. Like most Site operators, Chitsie LLC may gather log data (“Log Data”) including, but not limited to, IP addresses; operating system and browser type, access times and dates; the specific pages visited; the number of times a page is viewed or accessed; the links you click on the Site; and the locations of the Web pages the user views right before arriving at, while navigating and immediately after leaving the Site.

Like many websites, we use cookies (“Cookies”) to collect information. A “Cookie” is a string of information that a Site stores on a User’s computer, and that the User’s browser provides to the Site each time the User submits a query to the Site. Chitsie LLC uses Cookies to track the pages that users visit during each Site session. Users who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse Cookies before accessing the Site, with the understanding that certain features of the Site may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Chitsie LLC analyzes Non–Personally–Identifying Information gathered from Users of the Site to help it better understand how the Site is being used and to help improve Users’ experience on the site. By identifying patterns and trends in usage, Chitsie LLC is able to better design the Site to improve users’ experiences, both in terms of content and ease of use. Chitsie LLC may link Non-Personally Identifying Information gathered using Log Data and Cookies with Personally-Identifying Information.

Chitsie LLC may also release the Non–Personally–Identifying Information gathered from Site users in the aggregate to prospective Brand Sponsor(s) or for publishing reports or blogs on trends or usage statistics of the Site.

POLICY CONCERNING CHILDREN

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and Chitsie LLC will NEVER knowingly collect Personally-Identifying Information from anyone whom it knows to be under the age of 13. If we become aware a person under the age of 13 has provided us personal information, we will discontinue the use of such information and remove it from our active systems. Minors, between the ages of 13-18, must seek parental or guardian consent before using the Site or sending any information about themselves to anyone over the Internet.

PHISHING

Identity theft and the practice currently known as “phishing” are of great concern to us. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, your Account ID, or login password in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Please note that if you choose to provide information to us, Chitsie LLC transfers Personal Information to the United States and India and processes it there. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to such transfer.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

The Site provides hyperlinks to other websites controlled by third parties. This privacy statement does not govern the use of other websites.

CHANGES IN PRIVACY POLICY

With the dynamic business environment that we operate in, our business changes constantly, as do our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We will notify our Users about any major changes. While we will inform our Users about all major changes, Chitsie LLC reserves the right to revise these TOU at any time. We may not inform Users about minor changes that do not affect the usage of their personally-identifying information. It is the expressed obligation and responsibility of the User to check the Site frequently to see if there are any recent changes to any of our policies or these TOU.
